Sustainability-Related Disclosures under the SFDR

This section explains the sustainability approach of Pymwymic Investment Management B.V. in accordance with the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (“SFDR“) (Regulation (EU) 2019/2088), including how sustainability risks and principal adverse impacts are considered, as well as our obligations related to products classified under Article 9 of the SFDR.

 

Context

Pymwymic is one of Europe’s pioneering impact investors. Established in 1994 as a co-owned cooperative of over 200 individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and angel investors, Pymwymic Impact Investing Coöperatief U.A. (“Pymwymic Coop”) has led the way in channeling capital toward companies that care for both people and planet. Together with institutional partners, Pymwymic Coop has launched two investment funds, both of which are managed by Pymwymic Investment Management B.V. Pymwymic provides risk capital and hands-on support to scalable, financially sound companies that deliver measurable positive environmental and social impact. All investment products managed by Pymwymic qualify as Article 9 funds under the SFDR, meaning they are exclusively focused on sustainable investments.

Fund-Level Disclosures

Pymwymic currently manages two impact funds, both of which pursue sustainable investment as their core objective under Article 9 of the SFDR:

Pymwymic Healthy Ecosystems Impact Fund (PymHeif)

This fund invests in companies that are building solutions to preserve and restore ecosystems – from biodiversity and soil health to water and forest regeneration. The fund holds investments in nine portfolio companies aligned with its sustainability objective.

Pymwymic Healthy Food Systems Impact Fund II (PymHfs)

Currently in its investment phase, this fund aims to transform the global food system. It targets companies that are supporting a system that is fair for farmers, creates healthy foods, and nature positive.

Pymwymic Impact Investing Coöperatief U.A. (‘Pymwymic Coop’)

This is an investment cooperative: a peer-to-peer holding company of mission-aligned investors, consisting of families, family foundations and select individual investors. Pymwymic Coop’s mission is to make impact investing common place. Pymwymic Coop sets up and (jointly with potential co-investors) is a participant in one or more thematically oriented funds (‘Sub-Funds’ or ‘Funds’).
