As much as half of fresh fruits and vegetables are lost post-harvest primarily because of lack of or inadequate access to cold-chain logistics. Inspira Farms provides solar powered cooling facilities for growers and other industry players across Africa. The company’s solutions help reduce post-harvest food loss and allow businesses to sell more produce, lower their environmental impact, sell their produce at better prices and create more jobs – especially for women.
