The intensification of the agricultural market has resulted in a high use rate of chemicals and increasingly heavier machinery creating soil compaction. Naïo’s autonomous, electric-powered, lightweight robots provide a mechanical weeding alternative to reduce chemical weed management practices whilst improving the difficult working conditions of farmers. Naïo’s robots literally tread lightly in terms of their impact on land and their carbon footprint.
