Food waste and loss is an increasingly pressing issue, with an estimated one third of all food produced for human consumption being wasted every year. OneThird is a food tech company that enables the prevention and reduction of this food loss and waste, aiming to empower smarter fresh produce supply chains. To do this, OneThird has developed a scanner which allows growers, food distributors, retailers and shoppers to predict the shelf life of fresh produce and make better informed decisions.
